 Hello friends, I welcome you all to my blog again. Today we will talk about major olympiads and competitive exams for class 10th students.  NTSE(National Talent Search Exam) - It is one of most prestigious competitive exams for school students. NTSE’s sole purpose is to identify students who have high academic talent and exceptional intellectual ability. It basically consists of the NCERT syllabus of class 9th & 10th of subjects Social Science, Science and Mathematics. The Paper consists of 2 papers each of 100 marks. First paper consists of Mental Ability questions while the second paper consists of scholastic subjects (Science, Mathematics & SST). It comprises of two levels. First level is a state level examination conducted by state boards. The syllabus consists of the 9th and 10th class syllabi of state boards. A few students are then shortlisted and they compete at the national level. Finally from the result 2000 students approx are shortlisted & they get scholarship

Important Points & Summary of the CBSE released circular regarding the OBJECTIVE CRITERIA to lay out Class 10 results !

CBSE recently released a circular regarding the OBJECTIVE CRITERIA on which class 10th results for the session 2020-21 will be released  Important points to note in that circular  are as follows- 1. 20 marks of each subject will be based on internal assessment as usual. 2. The rest 80 marks for each subject which were to be based on board examinations will be based on the following exams for the session 2020-21.                                       Periodic Test/Pen-Paper Test - 10 Marks                Mid-Term Examination/Half Yearly Exams - 30 Marks                                            Pre - Board Examinations - 40 Marks   3. Each School will organize a result committee consisting of 5 teachers each of Mathematics, Social Science , Science & two languages .   For most students in class 9 th   and 10 th , visions of a career path are mostly restricted to childhood dreams. “I’ll grow up to be a pilot…a teacher…a doctor !” Ever since those early flights of fancy, very few actually give their career choice a serious thought. Yet as class 9 th  ends or class 10 th  begins, all of a sudden, this question starts coming up in a big way. Parents, family, teachers (sometimes even friends) can’t stop talking about how you need to choose your stream after class 10 th  and that it is time you start deciding.
